Description
A pack of three 4″ silver conical fountains, named after the three peaks — Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis — and each one gives you a different effect.
The first throws up a titanium chrysanthemum shot through with green. The second is a gold silk chrysanthemum with red running through it. The third is a white cedar flower with blue. Each burns for around 25 seconds, so fired one after another you get well over a minute of display, or set all three out together and you’ve got a wide wall of sparks across the garden.
The appeal here is low noise and low fuss. Only 8 metres of viewing distance is needed, which any normal back garden can manage, and there’s no bang to upset dogs, horses or neighbours. Because fountains stay at ground level, they’re also the sort of firework children can watch from close by, which makes them a useful opener before anything aerial goes up.
At the price these sit at, it’s one of the cheapest ways to add a bit of genuine variety to a garden display rather than just more cakes.
