Description
Three hundred shots. That’s the pitch, and at this price point almost nothing else comes close.
Screaming Wild Cat is a missile cake rather than a conventional barrage, so instead of stars and peonies you get a sky full of screaming — whistling missiles tearing upwards and crackling as they go, one after another, relentlessly. There’s crackle and pop running right the way through the duration, and it doesn’t let up until it’s done.
It’s a different kind of firework to a gold-and-colour cake, and that’s the point of having one. Drop it into the middle of a display and the whole character of the show changes for half a minute. Plenty of people buy it specifically for that contrast.
The practical appeal is that despite the shot count it’s rated F2 with just an 8 metre safety distance, so it suits a normal garden. Noise is rated medium rather than high — it’s more scream than bang, which some people actually prefer to a cake full of salutes.
Best for: adding noise and variety to a garden display, Bonfire Night, or anyone chasing maximum shots per pound.
