Description
New for 2026, and the pitch from Celtic is simple: this is their faster-paced compound. Where some of the big items in the range stretch to two and a half minutes, Proper Job puts 136 shots into 70 seconds, so it hits hard and doesn’t let up.
It’s a mixed firing pattern rather than straight up, so the sky shifts shape as it runs; fanned and angled sections sweeping colour across, then back to volleys. Combined with the pace, that gives it the feel of a professionally fired sequence rather than a single cake emptying itself.
Noise is rated the full 5 out of 5, so expect plenty of report alongside the colour. It’s a 25 metre item, which means a field or a large garden rather than a standard back garden.
At this price point it sits at the premium end of the range, and it’s aimed at people who want one item to carry the back half of a display. If you’ve got a show built from smaller cakes and need something to finish on, this does that job without needing you to fuse anything together.
