Description
The effect is a burst that throws out a single large coloured comet from its own core “spitting core” so instead of a clean symmetrical break you get a star that fires out of the middle of the explosion. Other manufacturers have copied it since, but Riakeo were first, and London Calling uses it properly rather than as a novelty.
It opens with titanium gold coconuts carrying Nishiki coloured dahlias in red, green, sea blue, orange and yellow, each one spitting its core. From there it moves into red, green, sea blue, lemon and orange bursts filled with fizzing stars, then spit red and spit green breaking into crackling flowers. The finale is gold fizzing palms Riakeo call them daisy flowers cut through with red strobe.
The duration is what makes it worth the money. 120 shots stretched over 100 seconds means it’s properly paced rather than emptied in half a minute, so it carries a long section of a display on its own.
