The red, white and blue theme runs through most of it, which is where the name comes from, but it isn’t only those three colours; there’s plenty else mixed in. It builds to a gold finale that ties the whole thing off properly.

With 1,807g of powder behind it, bursts reaching 25 metres and a 5-out-of-5 noise rating, it’s a serious item. Category F3 at 25 metres, so it needs a field or a large open space rather than a back garden.

The patriotic theme makes it an obvious choice for events where that fits — a jubilee, a royal occasion, a village show, or anything with a British angle. But it works just as well as a straight finale piece on Bonfire Night.
