Description
Bewitched replaced Bedazzled in the Celtic range and does the same job noticeably better. It’s a straightforward 100 shot single ignition cake — no fanning, no complicated firing patterns — but what it does, it does properly, and 55 seconds from a 20mm barrage is a genuinely long run.
The clever part is the way it builds. It starts at a steady pace with fine dark gold willows tipped in red, turning to red strobes with white strobing tips. Halfway through, the pace lifts and the palette shifts from red to silver, so it feels like the cake has changed gear. From there it moves into golden crackling dragon eggs that scatter across the sky, which is where the noise really picks up and where the name earns itself.
At 670g of powder across 100 shots, this is a classic prosumer cake — enough power to hold a crowd, not so much that it needs a field. Light it once and leave it. The gold-to-red-to-crackle progression makes it a natural Halloween seller as well as a Bonfire Night item.
Best for: a fast-paced finale on a garden display, or Halloween where the colour scheme fits the occasion.
